The Allianz Bank, as a credit institution providing portfolio management services, is considered a financial market participant and is therefore obligated to provide disclosures under Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 regarding the offered digital wealth management.
Environmental conditions, social disruptions and/or poor corporate governance can negatively impact the performance of investment assets in multiple ways. These so-called sustainability risks may directly affect the asset, financial, and earnings situation and the reputation of companies as investment assets, or have indirect, long-term impacts on business models and entire sectors. As with other investment risks, sustainability risks are primarily mitigated in Allianz Bank’s digital wealth management through broad diversification across regions, industries, and asset classes. No specific consideration of sustainability risks takes place at this time.
The remuneration policy of Allianz Bank does not include incentives to take sustainability risks on behalf of the company or its investors.
Investment decisions can have negative impacts on the environment (e.g., climate, water, biodiversity), on social and employee matters, and may hinder efforts to combat corruption and bribery. Allianz Bank is committed to fulfilling its responsibility as a credit institution and aims to help avoid such adverse impacts from investment decisions. However, the necessary reliable data sources are not yet sufficiently available.
Therefore, Allianz Bank declares that adverse impacts of investment decisions on sustainability factors are currently not considered binding in digital wealth management. Once reliable data sources become available, Allianz Bank will reassess the inclusion of adverse impacts of investment decisions on sustainability factors.
