Family legal protection insurance for children, partners and
relatives
Family legal protection insurance: Who is covered?
Family legal protection insurance protects not only you but
also your loved ones from the financial consequences of legal
disputes. This includes your children, your spouse or partner,
and other family members.
Who exactly is covered and under what conditions does the
protection apply?
-
Children: Covered as long as they live in
the policyholder's household. Remain covered after moving
out until they begin permanent employment. Coverage
continues if the child is placed in a care facility.
-
Spouses: Covered regardless of their
place of residence. Also covered if living in the same
household with primary residence there, or if living in a
nursing home.
-
Other family members: All persons living
with you in a shared household with their primary
residence are insured. This includes, for example, parents
or grandparents. Coverage also applies if they are in a
nursing home.
